Crescent joins forces with BetterUp

We started Crescent with the mission of helping people across the world unlock their peak potential through improved sleep.

Crescent was born from our own sleepless nights as roommates at Swarthmore College.  Our challenges and struggles sprouted into an academic research project around sleep improvement and wearable data, and soon after evolved into one of the leading startups in sleep health and digital coaching.

At Crescent, we’ve felt so much pride and joy from seeing the transformation of our members. From reversing their chronic insomnia to feeling more rejuvenated at work to even breaking athletic records, we partnered with our members to enhance their lives through the power of improved sleep.

And after 3 years, we’re thrilled to announce the next step in our journey: Crescent is being acquired by BetterUp, the human transformation company that drives peak performance in individuals and organizations through world-class coaching and content.

We’re excited to be joining a team that shares our vision and values of helping people live their lives with greater clarity, purpose, and passion.

Our team will be working closely with BetterUp to integrate our digital sleep health coaching and behavior change experience into their platform so that more users all over the world can benefit from better sleep and health. We’re excited to help BetterUp continue to advance the field of coaching and support amazing coaches with cutting-edge technology and AI. Let’s expand access to quality coaching and improve the lives of people across the globe by putting a coach in a billion people’s pockets.
